For people starting on Twitch
Your first stream, without getting lost on the way
I streamed on Twitch from 2021, first with two friends and then on my own channel. This is the folder of tools I kept, sorted, brought up to date and explained so it works for you.
What's here
- StartWhat you really need, your first stream step by step and the checklist before you hit «Go live».
- Set up OBSA calculator that tells you what to set from your connection and graphics card, and every setting with its why.
- PluginsThe OBS plugins I used, marked: alive, built into OBS, renamed or abandoned.
- ToolsChat bots, alerts, music without copyright trouble, VTuber avatars, stats and clips.
- DocksType your channel and get chat, activity feed, AutoMod and friends ready to paste into OBS.
- SoundboardSounds at hand for your stream: eight built in plus your own, from the keyboard, nothing uploaded.
- My channelWhere all this comes from: El Barhalla, the Jamulus sessions with scratching, and anark0x.
Why another guide
Most streaming guides are in English, three OBS versions old, or selling you something. Here every link says what it's for and whether it's still alive, and what OBS already ships with I won't send you to install.
